Our courses are designed to give a foundation in the arts. Each course concentrates on technique and performance and having fun!
Hip Hop: Hip Hop is an urban ethnic dance form that represents body movements that go with the beat and rhythm of Hip Hop music. It’s an ideal way to express one’s creativeness through self-expressions and the soul. It includes the following forms; Breaking, Popping, Locking, Free Styling
Belly Dance: Once a Middle Eastern folk dance, its an expressive dance form that uses movement of the entire body but with emphases to the torso. It is an art form that increases your fitness levels by toning your whole body and improving posture and co-ordination.
Modern: A free style dance that encourages the student to tell a story using their emotions in a choreographed routine.
African: Embrace your inner spirit with African influenced choreography set to the rhythms of African style drumming.
Ballet: Teaches basic ballet technique that builds a solid dance foundation, improves coordination, music skill, and physical health.
Liturgical Dance: A class that will combine modern dance techniques with expressive movements to gospel music. Participants will learn how to use movement to bring God’s word to life while expressing praise and worship. Dances will range from slow to quick pace depending on the desires of the participants. Dancers will gain confidence in their abilities and can take back what they have learned to their home churches.
